Periscope HD - H.264 RTSP Cam
Periscope HD is a free utility and tools app that turns your spare iPhone or iPad into a fully functional wireless IP camera. With this app, you can easily monitor your home, kids, and pets without any additional configuration.
To use Periscope HD, you don't need to install any other software. However, if you are using a Mac, you can also search for "Periscope Pro" in the Mac App Store or visit bit.ly/periscope_pro in your Mac browser.
If you prefer to use Periscope HD without Periscope Pro, you can find the RTSP URL in the "Preferences" tab. Simply input this URL into your favorite RTSP-enabled video player or IP camera viewer. Although it hasn't been tested, it should work.
The technical specifications of Periscope HD include video encoding in H.264 with a resolution of 1280x720 and a frame rate of 30 fps. The audio is encoded in G.711 PCMU format at 8000 Hz. The app supports networking protocols such as RTSP over UDP, RTSP over TCP, and Bonjour.
